One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with rounded rim and arched tab handles, brush-decorated on the front and reverse with a swag-and-hanging floral motif. Additional swag decoration below handles and highlights to handle terminals. Base chips. Otherwise excellent condition. H 10".
