Yellowware Washboard, American, late 19th or early 20th century, rectangular washboard decorated with brown sponging over a yellow ground in old wooden frame. A 2" loss to edge of washboard itself, visible on reverse. A small chip to base of washboard itself. Possible loss to wood frame on reverse, including small added nails. Stable cracks to wood. Wood has been varnished. H 23 1/2" ; W 12".
