Scarce Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "WOODBRIDGE. / BIDWELL," Manchester, CT origin, circa 1820, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, decorated with cobalt brushwork surrounding the maker's mark. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Significant, tight cracks throughout. Surface wear to shoulder area. H 14 1/2".
