Rare Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt American Flag Decoration, OH origin, circa 1876, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of an American flag with finialed staff and tassels. Slip-trailed "6" flanked by dashes above. Significant restoration, not covering any part of the flag, but covering the "6" with flourishes above. A hairline through flag. A small chip to one handle. H 13 7/8".
