Stoneware Spittoon with Cobalt-Stenciled Richmond, VA Advertising, attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, cylindrical form with concave sides, heavily-tooled shoulder and carved circular openings in top and shoulder, the top stenciled with the advertising, "E.B. TAYLOR / Richmond, Va." Excellent condition with two small rim chips, two tiny nicks to opening on top, and a small in-the-firing chip to underside. Dimensions: 5" x 8 7/8".
