Suitland, MD Tanware Advertising Jug, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, Dated 1879, tan-clayed, cylindrical jug featuring the stenciled Albany slip advertising, "S.T. SUIT / SUITLAND, MD. / LITTLE BROWN JUG / THE WHISKEY IN THIS JUG WAS / MADE 1869 / AND JUGGED BY ME IN 1879." Chipping to spout. Small scratch marks to right side of jug. H 6 3/4".
