Stoneware Reclining Dog Doorstop, Jane Lew, WV, circa 1880, molded figure of a reclining spaniel on slab base, the surface covered in a dark-brown Albany slip glaze. A 1 1/4" base chip on left side. Shallow chipping to base. A small, glazed-over base chip. A 3" firing crack on underside. L 8 5/8".
