Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "HARRINGTON & BURGER / ROCHESTER," NY State origin, circa 1852-1854, ovoid jug with tapered spout, decorated with slip-trailed design of a daisy plant with detailed blossom. Slip-trailed "3." above. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Staining to surface. A shallow in-the-firing spout chip. A thin horizontal crack to base of handle. A 3 1/2" crack from spout on reverse. H 16 1/4".
