Glazed Stoneware Pig Flask, Southern U.S. origin, late 19th century, wheel-thrown form with spout at rear, applied features, and incised details to face and hooves, the surface covered in a brown Albany slip glaze. Folky form with interesting applied bent legs reminiscent of the work of the Decker Pottery of Chucky Valley, Tennessee. Very nice condition with minor chips. L 7 1/2".
