Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, NJ origin, second half 19th century, a two-gallon semi-ovoid jar with brushed floral motif, stamped "JOHN H. OSBORN / NEWARK POTTERY," paired with a one-gallon cylindrical crock with stylized floral motif, stamped "O.H. SMITH & BRO. / FLEMINGTON, N.J." Osborn jar with three rim chips, a short surface crack to front of rim, wear to inner rim for lid, and water glass staining to interior. Smith crock with a few rim chips and water glass staining to interior. H (of Osborn jar) 11 3/4".
