Rare Yellowware Hound-Handled Pitcher, Stamped "AMERICAN POTTERY CO. / JERSEY CITY, N.J.", circa 1833-1850, molded pitcher with detailed relief scenes of hounds overtaking a boar and stag, the collar with relief grape vine design, the handle in the form of greyhound with collar. Underside with American Pottery Co. maker's mark. Some tight surface lines to underside, not visible on interior. Two flakes to raised molding above hunt scene motifs. Other nicks and abrasions to some high points. H 8 3/4".
