One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and open loop handles, decorated on the front with a brushed stylized floral motif and on the reverse with two rows of wavy cobalt lines. Tight cracks in underside, one forming a tight Y at base. Rim chips. H 9 1/4".
