One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "NICHOLS & BOYNTON / BURLINGTON, VT," circa 1856-1860, cylindrical jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a vine with fan-shaped blossom. Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. A large chip to top of spout. Fry to cobalt. A tiny nick to front of spout. H 12".
