Two Half-Gallon Newark, NJ Stoneware Advertising Jugs, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1900, one with Bristol-slip-glazed surface and the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "P.H. Corish. / 63 Lexington St. / Newark. / N.J.;" the other with Bristol-and-Albany-slip-glazed surface and the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "Chas Sommers, / 547 Springfield Ave, / Newark, / N.J." Corish jug with poorly-restored handle, a few small, poorly-restored spout chips, and a tiny spout nick. Sommers jug with two small rim chips, small chips to shoulder molding, and light staining. H (of each) 9".
