Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, probably Georgia origin, second half 19th century, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and flared rim, the surface covered in an olive-green alkaline glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some residue from use on interior of rim. H 8 1/8".
