Cold-Painted Stoneware Spaniel Doorstop, attributed to the George Bagnall Pottery, Newcomerstown, OH, circa 1870-1910, full-bodied figure of a seated spaniel on base with incised details to face, paws, collar, and locket. Surface with old dark-brown paint as well as red-painted fur throughout. Small loss to edge of base on reverse. Minor chipping to base. A small flake to reverse. Light surface wear. H 10".
