Two Pieces of Ohio Stoneware, mid 19th century, both with cobalt highlights, a two-gallon ovoid jug, stamped "MOORE & COLVIN" and a one-gallon jar, stamped "S. PURDY / PORTAGE Co, / OHIO." Jug with crazing to underside, a 5" Y-shaped line ascending from base, and a piece of clay adhered to side of jug. Jar with rim chips, wear to inner rim for lid, and exfoliation to reverse. H (of jug) 13 3/4".
