Small-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, attributed to Clarkson Crolius, Sr., Manhattan, NY, early 19th century, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spouted, decorated with brushed dashes at the shoulder. Cobalt highlight to upper handle terminal. Desirable size. Handle broken into three pieces and reglued. In-the-firing contact marks to surface. Two tiny base chips. H 7 1/2".
