Unusual Miniature Redware Teacup, Philadelphia, PA origin, probably Haig Family, third quarter 19th century, with footed base, ovoid body, and flared rim, the lead-glazed surface decorated with vertically-sponged manganese stripes. Likely made for a child. Very nice condition, the foot with a chip and wear, the rim with a minor chip and extremely minor wear, and the handle with a minuscule fleck of glaze loss. H 2 1/8 ; Diam. (at rim) 2 3/8".
