Redware Plate with Slip-Decorated Horse Motif, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, late 19th century, with coggled edge, the lead-glazed interior decorated with a yellow-slip horse including lightly-incised and sgraffito details. An earlier work by Medinger. Provenance: From a recently-surfaced CA collection. A 1 1/2" restored rim chip. A small unrestored rim chip. Diam. 9".
