Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, Philadelphia, PA origin, second quarter 19th century, with coggled edge, the lead-glazed interior decorated in yellow slip with a band of three wavy trails flanked by four smaller curved trails. Excellent condition with a small rim chip and very minor surface wear to interior. Olive-colored mottling to the interior is original to the firing. Diam. 9 3/4".
