Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Wreath Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & CO. / ROCHESTER N.Y.," circa 1877-1879, cylindrical jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of the number "4," surrounded by a wreath with bow at base. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Excellent condition with some light staining. H 17 1/2".
