Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, NY State origin, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed, double-stemmed floral motif. A glazed-over, in-the-firing chip to top of spout. A minor, glazed-over chip to outer edge of spout. A 1" in-the-firing contact mark to one side. Shallow base chips. H 13 3/4".
