One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG: PA," circa 1865, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed, open-centered floral motif with looped brushwork surrounding its stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Excellent condition with a minor nick to interior of rim. H 9 3/4".
