Two Pieces of Beaver, PA Stoneware, third quarter 19th century, a one-and-a-half-gallon undecorated jar, stamped "N.J. LLOYD / BEAVER PA;" a three-gallon jar with brushed-cobalt floral motif and cobalt-script "3," stamped "E. FOWLER / BEAVER. PA." Lloyd jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Fowler jar with crazing and staining throughout, an in-the-firing contact mark to front, and a short line from rim on front. H (of Lloyd jar) 10 3/4".
