Four Stoneware Advertising Jugs, American, circa 1900, one featuring cobalt-script advertising, "R.L. / 9 Union St. / Brooklyn," attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ; two with advertising for the wine and liquor dealers, Gross' and Philip Stark, of Brooklyn, NY; and a fourth with elaborate liquor and olive oil advertising for "AMERICAN BOTTLING CORP. / PROVIDENCE, R.I.," stamped "R.C.P.Co. AKRON. O." and "1/2 GAL." on underside. Fulper jug with minor glaze flaking or in-the-firing glaze spalling, a tiny spout nick, and some base chips. Gross' jug with two base chips. Stark jug with green paint to underside and two tiny nicks to spout. Providence jug with two minor base chips. H (of Fulper jug) 11 1/2".
