Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, PA and NY origin, 19th century, a one-gallon, semi-ovoid jar with slip-trailed tulip motif, attributed to the Hudson River Pottery, New York, NY, circa 1845, paired with a stripe-decorated canning jar, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA, circa 1880. NY jar in essentially as-made condition with some bubbling to cobalt. Canning jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of canning jar) 8 1/2".
