Two Two-Gallon Stoneware Jugs with Cobalt Decoration, Stamped "C.W. BRAUN / BUFFALO. N.Y.," circa 1870, both of semi-ovoid form with tapered spouts, one with slip-trailed floral motif, the other with slip-trailed star motif. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity marks. Shorter jug with staining and a glazed-over iron ping to base of handle. Taller jug with staining, in otherwise excellent condition. H (of shorter jug) 14".
