Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, NY State origin, 19th century, an ovoid jar with flared collar, rounded lug handles, lead-glazed exterior and lead-and-manganese-glazed interior, Western NY State origin, possibly Nathaniel Rochester Pottery, West Bloomfield, NY, circa 1818-1832; paired with a plate with tan-colored, lead-based glaze on interior, Western NY State origin, possibly Morganville, NY or Alvin Wilcox. West Bloomfield, NY, mid 19th century. Jar with Y-shaped crack across underside extending onto base in three places, a base chip, a small rim chip, a minor rim nick, minor rim wear, and minor handle wear. H (of jar) 9 3/8" ; Diam (of plate) 11 1/4".
