Fine Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, possibly North Shore, MA, early 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base and tooled shoulder, its lead-glazed surface featuring colorful mottling in shades of green, reddish-brown, and orange. Some restored chipping to edge of handle. Wear to opposite edge of handle. Minor restoration to rim of spout. H 7".
