Fine Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, possibly North Shore, MA origin, early 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base, narrow mouth, and ribbed strap handle, its lead-glazed surface featuring dark-olive coloration with heavy orange spotting. A 5/8" drilled lamp wire hole in underside. Otherwise excellent condition. H 9 1/2".
