Fine Glazed Redware Jar with Manganese Decoration, Bristol County, MA origin, late 18th or early 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base and shallow rim, its lead-glazed surface decorated with streaks of manganese over a green ground with orange spotting and mottling. Excellent color. Heavy chipping to rim. Wear to inner rim for lid. Light surface wear. H 10".
