Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "THOMAS & BRO, / HUNTINGDON PA," circa 1872, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of a daisy flanked by swags. Heavy chipping to rim. A faint 2 1/2" diagonal surface line near base on left side of jar. Some light staining. H 10 3/8".
