Glazed Redware Jar, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with footed and semi-squared rim, the lead-glazed surface featuring mottled, dark-salmon color with flecking and faint greenish hues throughout. Wear to rim and inner rim for lid. A few minor base chips. Minor surface wear to midsection. A thin crack across underside, continuing 3 1/2" up base of jar. H 10 1/2".
