Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHITES UTICA.NY," circa 1875, large-sized, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a flowering plant featuring large leaves, a central blossom, and spotted accents. Heavy chipping to one handle. Wear to opposite handle. A 1 3/4" in-the-firing chipped section to rim. Light water glass staining to interior. Minor bubbling to cobalt. Minor nicks and wear to exterior of rim. H 13 1/2".
