Three Glazed Stoneware Reclining Dog Figures, possibly OH origin or Pfaltzgraff Pottery, York, PA, early 20th century, one large and two smaller recumbent dogs, each brush-decorated with black-slip spots and facial features over refined whitish clay with a semi-opaque glaze. Two smaller dogs include black collars. One smaller dog incised "George" on underside, the second incised "Henry" on underside. Largest in excellent condition with minor chips to tail. Dog incised "Henry" with flakes to ears, primarily to bottom edge of ears and probably in-the-firing, and a minor chip to underside of tail. Dog incised "George" in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor, in-the-firing glaze bubble to one ear. L (of largest) 10 3/4".
