Eight Redware Jars, Bell Pottery, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1850-1895, all of ovoid form with lead-and-manganese-glazed interior, the three tallest stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," circa 1850-1880; the three middle-sized stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa.," circa 1880-1895; and the two smallest stamped "JOHN BELL," circa 1840-1880, and "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," circa 1850-1880. The two smallest jars with small holes in underside, one of which also has a flake on reverse and flaking on interior. Two John W. Bell jars in very nice condition, both with small rim chips. All in otherwise fair to good condition with varying amounts of wear and/or staining. H (of smallest) 4 1/2".
