Two Flint Enamel Pedestal-Based Urns, Lyman, Fenton & Co., Bennington, VT, mid 19th century, both with matching twisted pattern and separately-fired bases, glazed in various colors of a cream clay ground. Example with cobalt spotting includes a Lyman, Fenton & Co. maker's mark on underside. Signed example with a 3/4" surface line to interior of rim, surface cracks to top edge of pedestal base, and kiln stacker marks on underside of base.Unsigned example with rim chips, a short firing line in rim, another short line in rim, restoration to pedestal base, and chips to inner rim of pedestal base. H (of each) 8 3/4".
