Three Glazed Pottery Lids, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, a tulip-decorated stoneware example, a swag-decorated stoneware example, and a lead-glazed redware example, all with John Bell maker's mark on underside. Provenance: Property deaccessioned by the Miller House Museum, Hagerstown, MD. Larger stoneware lid in excellent condition with two tiny nicks to flange on underside. Smaller stoneware lid with a large chip to knob and two edge chips. Redware lid with chips and wear. Diam. (of largest) 10 1/2".
