Rare Cold-Painted Redware Vase, Stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa.," circa 1880-1895, cylindrical vase with flared base and rim, the interior covered in a clear lead glaze. Exterior with blue-gray painted surface featuring brown stripes and crosshatching, likely applied at the pottery. John W. Bell maker's mark on underside. Excellent condition with some staining and a shallow 3/4" chip to underside at edge, likely in the firing. H 5 5/8".
