One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with heavily-tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a series of graduated swags and hanging flowers. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Two chips to bottom edge. A chip to underside at edge. A minor nick to top and bottom edge of rim. H 6 1/4" ; Diam. 11 1/2".
