One-Gallon Stoneware Butter Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southeastern PA origin, circa 1860, cylindrical form with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a swag and hanging flower motif. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A chip to end of one handle. A few minor nicks to exterior of rim. A small stone ping to rim. H 5" ; Diam. 9 3/8".
