Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1835, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a double-stemmed, fan-shaped floral motif on the front and two drooping flowers around the body. Excellent condition with minor surface wear and a few in-the-firing burns to surface. H 13 1/2".
