Extremely Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Toby Bottle, Northeastern U.S. origin, second quarter 19th century, molded bottle in the form of a standing Toby with coat and tricorn hat, decorated throughout with brushed cobalt spots under a clear salt glaze. Cobalt highlight to spout and foot. Restoration to spout. Base chips. Wear to nose. Faint traces of old gold paint to surface. H 8".
