Glazed Stoneware Cabin Doorstop, attributed to the Houghton Pottery, Dalton, OH, early 20th century, molded cabin-form doorstop with hollowed chimney, decorated with green and subtle brown highlights under a clear glaze. Underside with old black marker inscription, "1800's / Doorstop used by / Henry R, Clara (Stiner) Kreider; my mother's parents. / Donna." Provenance: Descended in the family of the consignor. Excellent condition with a tiny nick to interior of chimney. Dimensions: 7" x 4 3/4" x 6".
