Six-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "LAMBRIGHT," OH origin, third quarter 19th century, semi-ovoid form with tooled shoulder, slightly-flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of a flowering plant bearing two drooping blossoms and two buds. Reverse decorated with six graduated cobalt stripes. Good form, size, and color. Bloated spots to surface. Two chips to one handle. A tiny nick to inner rim for lid. A faint vertical 6" surface line near base on reverse. Some old green paint spattered on left side. H 18".
