Scarce Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southwestern VA origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with flared collar and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a distinctive floral motif featuring open-centered leaves and blossom petals. Two spout chips. A faint 1 1/2" hairline from rim on left side of pitcher. H 8 3/4".
