Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped Twice "ELIZ TOWN POTERY," Pruden Family, Elizabethtown, NJ, second quarter 19th century, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, decorated with a brushed foliate motif below the mark, "ELIZ TOWN / POTERY" (sic). Very nice condition with some in-the-firing contact marks to surface and a horizontal line to underside of handle. H 11".
