Two New York State Stoneware Churns with Cobalt Bird Decoration, circa 1875, a two-gallon churn with slip-trailed double-bird decoration, stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S / & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y."; paired with a four-gallon churn with slip-trailed design of a fan-tailed bird with turned head. Two-gallon churn with significant restoration including some cobalt, a short line from rim, and minor chipping to inner rim for lid. Four-gallon churn with significant restoration and a rim chip on reverse. H (of two-gallon churn) 13 5/8".
