Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Rose Motif, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT / GREENSBORO. / PA.," circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a stenciled rose surrounded by T.F. Reppert maker's stenciling. Freehand straight and wavy stripe decoration to shoulder. Freehand "2" with flourishes at base. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 12".
